This is a 2-day experience working with Kate Mason, ex Head Chef from The Hive Bar and Grill to create and deliver the menu for the Auburn Youth Centre Annual General Meeting and Kitchen Launch Party. To participate you must attend both Wednesday and Thursday.
This real life work experience will provide you with training in food preparation and handling, it will look good on a resume and will allow us to be your referee when you apply for work.
Day 1 – Wednesday
Time: 11am – 4pm
We will be planning the menu, preparing basics and pastries. You will learn new skills and be taught in our new commercial training kitchen. It is a great opportunity to gain work experience and to add to your resume for future work opportunities.
Day 2 – Thursday
Time 1pm – 6pm
